PARADIS PERDU

a new collection

This collection explores the idea of an imaginary paradis perdu - French for “lost paradise”. The series was inspired by my recent road trip across the deserts in Utah and Arizona. The landscapes here imprinted in my mind like fragmented scenes of a surreal paradise on Earth: every sunrise and sunset was a crescendo of light and shadows interplayed.

Ha Hoang is a french-vietnamese abstract painter currently residing in france. her works explore the dynamic interplay of spontaneity and poetic imperfections, with textures and colors nodding to nostalgic {primitive} longings.
